Grand Island Wedding - Jonathan and Genesis

When our friends and fellow musicians Jon and Genesis (of Indie/Pop/Rock band Boy On Guitar) asked us to shoot their wedding, we were thrilled at the chance to do something we'd never done before! We didn't quite realize yet just how special it would be to record some of the most beautiful moments in a young couple's lives.  Family surrounded the bride and groom on the banks of the Sacramento Delta in a private garden sanctuary at the Grand Island Mansion.  As the bride and groom were officially announced, the mariachi band began to play from the mansion balcony and the newlyweds disappeared into the mansion together for the first time as man and wife.  What an honor and a blessing to be part of such a beautiful day!

Rachel's Fables

If you hare not yet familiar with Fables By Barrie, you are missing out on some rad dresses and swimwear!  This lady makes women feel glamorous in handmade duds made with love in San Diego California.  I had first heard of Fables when my friend Arleen modeled some swimwear for her a while back, so I was very excited to hear that Ms. Barrie would be custom designing and sewing a dress made from Birch Fabrics' Wildland collection!  The dress was far more beautiful than I had envisioned, but don't take my word for it - I convinced Rachel to model it so that you wouldn't have to!
